About CPOA
CPOA aims to provide all its residents with the highest standard of care and nursing within a homely environment, to promote quality of life, the maintenance of independence, the preservation of dignity and, by becoming members of a senior centre, encourage participation of older persons in all aspects of community life.
Our competitive health care makes provision for those in need of extra special care and this is provided in all CPOA Health care facilities. Independence is encouraged by trained health care professionals and the quality of care is of a high standard.
Brief History
The Cape Peninsula Organisation for the Aged (CPOA) was founded in 1953 by a group of volunteers with a vision to improve the quality of life of the elderly. Since then it has grown into an organisation that stands as a leader in the field of care and nursing for the aged providing services to a large number of complexes which range from independent living to the provision of full care (those in need of daily care) and numerous new upmarket developments.
