| The Cape Peninsula Welfare Organisation for the Aged was founded in 1953 by a group of volunteers with a vision to improve the quality of life of the elderly. Since then it has grown into an organisation that stands as a leader in the field of care and nursing for the aged providing services to 22 complexes which range from independent living to the provision of full care (those in need of daily care).
