New Riverside Gardens retirement complex will target active elderly people

It will have a gymnasium, a library and writing room, a lounge with a sports bar and big screen viewing, heated indoor swimming pool and attractive courtyard area.

To reduce the levy cost, no frail care or dining facilities will be available in the complex, but, if required, these services will be available at additional cost, at Riverside Place just up the road.

The new complex will have 59 units. These will be one bedroom apartments ranging in size from 45 to 88m2 and two bedroom apartments from 78 to 117m2 in size.
All units will have fitted kitchens and granite countertops with ovens and hobs.
Prices vary from R855,000 to R1,599,000.
